This will usual comprise a Tree Constraints Plan (TCP) Arboricultural Implication Assessment (AIA) and Arboricultural Method Statement (AMS) and tree Protection Plan (TPP) allowing the client and the Local PlanningAuthority to assess the implications of the proposed development on the existing trees to be retained as part of the development.
If the Tree Constraints Plan (TCP) is undertaken as an initial phase of the site appraisal it can be used to guide the design process by raising awareness of those trees that will have to be retained as part of the development of the site and thereby informing the design process, ultimately smoothing the flow of planning application by dealing with tree/development issues before they become a problem.

of Local Planning Authorities.
Our aim is to provide a comprehensive but targeted product with the goal of smoothing the path of any planning application through the planning process, by dealing with the tree issues as an integral part of the design and development process rather than a 'last minute' thing, as can often be the case.
It should be noted that we have developed a tree management database that enables the retention of a history file as a matter of course for each individual tree inspected. This enables the client to obtain a detailed history of the management of trees at the touch of a button.
The increasing requirements of the planning process with regards trees, through BS5837:2005 British Standard Recommendations for Trees in Relation to Construction, are such that invariably where trees re on a proposed development site, the Local Planning Authority will require the submission of a Tree Survey inn line with BS5837.

dealing with all tree and planning related issues as well helping revise their Tree Risk Assessment Program.
We have a wealth of experience dealing with digital planning systems such as 'Uniform' and a variety of GIS software packages so that any cover required can be implemented with limited disruption to other LPA staff.

Estate Tree Management
Haydens provides a tree management service for landowners varying from small Resident Committees to large Farms and Estates. We advise all matter relating to trees form individual tree management, pest and disease to wholesale Tree Risk Assessments. We will create bespoke databases for each Client , holding the necessary history files on trees inspected, allowing for records to be recalled as and when necessary. The schedules of works and associated priorities provided enable the client to budget for the management of the trees on an annual basis.
We can provide plans either on Digital Ordinance Survey Tiles or on Google Earth, allow easy access to plans for all at the press of a button
Our reports will give all the relevant details of the tree in relation to the dwelling such as: species, diameter at breast height (dbh), age, height, crownspread, safe useful life expectancy, water demand, distance from the dwelling, condition/problems and any required tree works.
Details are also given of the Local Planning Authority and any designations relevant to the tree(s) such as Tree Preservation Orders, Conservation Areas or Planning Conditions.
Pre-purchase / Development Site Assessment
Prior to the purchase of a site, it is often advisable to undertake an assessment of the trees on the site so that a realistic assessment of the potential for conflict between existing trees and prospective development with regards the trees can be undertaken prior to purchase/sale of any land. This will allow the prospective purchaser/vendor to make allowances for any potential conflicts and budget accordingly for any required tree works.
Subsidence Risk Assessment
We provide a service where we can assess the risk of subsidence to a dwelling from trees so that appropriate management regimes for trees can be implemented to either reduce the affect of existing movement in the dwelling or reduce the potential risk of movement.
